Eisenia hummus is an organic fertilizer produced in a controlled composting process using substances containing degradable organic matter as well as plant nutrients, which are metabolized in the digestive system of Californian worms. The product contains gradually releasing plant nutrients, humic substances, amino acids, phytohormones, enzymes and microorganisms. Its properties adjust the structure of light, especially sandy soils to enhances their ability to retain water and reduce leaching of nutrients. |

01Planting in cultivation containersIn the case of cultivation containers or container gardening we recommend a 1:3 mix of vermicompost and the original soil or peat. |

02Tree plantingWhen planting trees, we recommend placing a 1:3 mix of vermicompost and the original soil (or peat) at the trees` root level in the prepared holes. |

03Planting in patches, greenhouses, or open groundSpread vermicompost over cultivated soil in the amount of 2 -5 litres/m2 and work it down into the soil to reach the root level. The application may as well be done before the actual soil cultivation, including shallow or moderate tillage. |
